*QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
2.) State Teams will be derived by rank order of their State athletes within the State by age groups. These teams will rotate around the gym as a State Team, and the remaining gymnasts will be All-Star's but in a separate rotation.
State Team Information - Level 8 Regionals
All gymnasts scoring a 34.5 will qualify to Regionals but will not know whether they will be on a state team until all entries are in. Injury petitions will be accepted if their petition score is a 35.5 or above, however, they will not be eligible for a State Team.
State Teams will be the top 7 in each age group
with 4 scores counting. Age groups will be determined after all state meets are
completed. After Regional entries are in the athletes will be split into groups
of 64 that will make up an age group. The top 7 athletes from each state will
comprise the State Team.
1.) Age groups will be determined upon completion of all
State Championship Meets and Regional
entries have been received. The number of age groups will be determined at a later date. Each age group will have a
separate session.
